Elsie's Wheel Logo

This is the logo for the oracle deck (similar to a tarot deck) that I created that was inspired by Elsie Wheeler's Sabian Symbols. The Sabian Symbols are a series of evocative phrases with astrological origins that were created in the 1920s.

For the logo, I wanted to evoke the image of a wheel, while keeping with the hippie theme of the deck so I decided to use the image of a symmetrical flower. As a nod to the deck's astrological roots, there are twelve petals, one for each astrological sign. I added some movement to the lettering to mirror the turning of a wheel.
